WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF ERRORS IN THE SPINDLE ?

  • Surface quality deterioration,
  • Loss of sensitivities,
  • Breaking and early blunting of cutting tools,
  • Different sizes of the same work, especially in serial production,
  • Increase of fluctuations and traces in hand by face milling,
  • Reading of different error values in each change in the same toolholder,
  • The formation of marks in a short time especially in the new holders’ cones,
  • Formation of copper colored rust on tool cones,

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF WORKING WITH BLASTED SPINDLE:

  • Vibration caused by distortion, causes bearings to break down.
  • Loss of processing time.

Processes, 100% grinding techniques and methods, total precision not exceeds 3 µm !.1

  • Since the spindle will not be removed; loss of time, supply of new bearings, additional cost of dismantling and, most importantly, the possibility of capturing the sensitivity of the original assembled state.
  • Loss of business is minimal, as the process can be done outside working hours or on holidays.
  • No axis of the machine is moved during the process, then there is no problem about sensitivity.
  • Maximum surface quality is obtained as Rzmax : 2.5 µm.
  • Since the grinding device is completely CNC controlled, very precise results are obtained.
  • At the end of the service, spindle state, tool pulling force, conical form error rate, spindle vibration characteristic and bearing error reports are given.
